BESPOKE BUCCIALLI TRIBUTE CAR
This is a completely custom car, a tribute to the 1931 Bucciali TAV-8 Cabriolet, that John Herlitz worked on for owner Bill Tishman. Completed in 1983, the car took nearly 10 years to build and, among other luxurious appointments, featured hot and cold running water in the passenger compartment. Herlitz described the car as "a study in heroic vehicle proportions".
The Bucciali now resides at The Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska. The full story and photos of the vehicle can be found here. |
